Welcome to Prophetic Purpose- a place where God begins to lead you into Prophetic Destiny!!
This blog is welcome to all those who

OPEN DOOR
believe they were specifically created for something…that you are NOT a waste of time, nor are you just here for a moment til the day you die.
YOU DO HAVE A DESTINY….A PURPOSE!! God did not create you to just live a “half life” or to just get by. I am a believer in Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah-but I also know the world needs much more than just CHURCH…It needs HIM! A real relationship with your Daddy!
This is what we’re here for….to re-introduce you to the real God, the God that lives and inhabits Eternity…Outside of the four corners of the Church. We do believe in the fellowship of the saints, but what we stand for is taking Him to those who really need to know He’s real. We will take on real issues, and anything that blocks you from going higher.
So, if you want to move into destiny, we say….WELCOME TO PURPOSE.

Prophetic Utterances
I’m going to share with you a revelation the Holy Ghost gave me about how to “war” with praise.
There are times when the enemy will come against you 7 times to try to throw you or cause you to stumble and fall. But I’m going to give you 3 sure fire proof “levels of Praise” to fight him when he comes at you like a roaring lion AND make him flee!
Here they are. They’re found in a very strategic (and very familiar) passage of scripture: 2 Chronicles 20:21-22………..
“…And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten….” * (KJV)
Check this out. In these 2 verses, it lists 3 types of praises. 2 Chronicles 20:21 gives God the highest praise—“Halal” praise—when they praised the “beauty of Holiness” of the LORD. Then, the singers come along and begin to sing unto the LORD and say at the end of that verse,
“Praise the LORD, for His Mercy endures forever…” (KJV)*
This is “Yadah” praise—bringing in the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. But then they gave God “Tehillah” praise–And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir…
What happened? Let me repeat it.
“…the LORD set ambushments…which were come against Judah; and they were smitten…”
Deuteronomy 10:20-21 says,
“…You shall [reverently] fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and by His name and presence you shall swear.
He is your praise; He is your God, Who has done for you these great and terrible things which your eyes have seen…” (AMP) emphasis mine*
I know you’re like, “Well, Sis Samantha, what are you saying???”
Listen, too many times we allow the enemy to distract us when we go thru trying times. The greatest weapon you can use (next to the Blood and Jesus Name) is Praise. It puts your hand in the neck of your enemies. It is combative. Because what happens when you praise is that you invite the LORD Sabbaoth, the LORD of Hosts, to come in and fight for you.
You cannot defeat the enemy in your own strength, Beloved. But when God fights your battle for you……………………OMG!!
Can you say, “Hah! Take that! And that, you lousy snake!!”
You too, can be like J.J. from Good Times. REMEMBER J.J.?? He was nothing but “skin and bones” and several times when he was bullied or someone came at him, his daddy, James stepped in quickly, as if to say, “If you want to mess with him, Jack, you gotta come thru me first!”
That’s what Daddy God says to the ememy. Because He loves you, if someone messes with you, not only will He step in on your behalf, Psalms 149:6-9 says He will let you execute judgement upon them (with your praise.) In other words, your “high praises” dictates how God is going to judge them.
Wow!! You go, God!!!!!!!!

PRAISE IS WHAT I DO………….
Too many of us have relegated praise to a song or a dance, and have thought that we’ve fulfilled our “spiritual obligations.” However, praise is much more than ”spiritual gyrations” or gymastics. It is extremely important to the believer in walking out their Christianity.
In order to get a better understanding, let’s go back to the name of Judah. Judah (or Praise) was given a powerful word of prophecy by his father, Jacob, before his father passed away. Part of this prophecy was,
“…..Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be…”1
In other words, his name was 2-fold: it was to magnify God and it was also a “warring” name because, in Christ, He would ultimately defeat Satan, the original praise leader.2
Why is this important to you? Because, you need to understand the power of your praise when it is offered up sincerely before God.
It is a mighty weapon. Praise declares several things:
**It speaks to the fact that you are a believer of Yeshua.
In the book of Jude, he speaks to the believers in the Church to NOT be deceived by false teachers/prophets who had come in to make them stumble.3 He uses the word, “doxa“ in this passage which means “a hymn or form of words containing an ascription (or ascribing) of (high) praise to God.”4 Beloved, he was talking to believers. Non believers will not ascribe glory to God, and thus, cannot offer up pure praise and worship. This is one way to know truly those that are His and those that are not.
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”5
You are either a follower of Christ OR an enemy of God. And the time will come when a decision will have to be made-So the question is, “Who is on the LORD’s side??”
**It reminds Satan of the judgement written, or already reserved, for him.
Remember, Satan was initially called “Lucifer” or “Son of the morning.” He was the original praise leader. He was kicked out of heaven because of pride in wanting to exalt his throne above God and for also causing 1/3 of the angels to fall with him.6
Because of this rebellion, he was cast down to the earth along with the angels 7 who rebelled and he lost the beauty he once had.8 Therefore, he cannot stand your praise, absolutely hates the praises of the true saints of God. It ultimately reminds him of his judgement which is reserved for him at the end of time. But Beloved, check this out: God gives you the honor of executing the judgement on him and his minions–
”…Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.9
This means EVERY time you offer up true praises to the LIVING God, there’s an “execution of orders” that totally confound the enemy. It wreaks havoc in his camp and total confusion. Your hand is in the neck of your enemy, choking the life out of his plans and the attacks against you. YEA, GOD!! Remember, your warfare is not against flesh and blood. That’s not your enemy. It is the principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.10 This is who is attacked and judged when the praises goes up.
**And last, but not least, it renders unto God what belongs to God.
If you get nothing else from this, please remember this: YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO HANDLE THE GLORY.
Our fleshly nature loves to be recognized and our egos love to be stroked. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be recognized for a job well done, but when it gets to the place where we are prideful and not walking in humility, we are setting ourselves up for a great fall.
The best example of this is King Nebuchadnezzar. He was a powerful king in the Old Testament who built this great empire. Several times throughout his lifetime, God tries to get his attention and even warned him through a dream through the prophet, Daniel of what was to come regarding his prideful ways. But he ignored the warnings. One day, he was walking along the roof of his home and looking out over Babylon, the city he ruled over, and said in his heart, “Is this not the great city which I (my hands) have built? No sooner had the words were uttered, than the judgement was set on him by God. For seven years, he roamed about like a beast in the field. In the seventh year, God restored his mind and he praised the God of heaven! 11
Please recognize, Nebuchadnezzar is just an example. In heaven, the angels sing “Holy, holy, holy” and the elders cast their crowns and say “Worthy is the Lamb! To receive glory, honor, riches, wisdom, power and strength ! 12
Catch the revelation: They give glory, honor, and power to the One who is worthy to receive it.
You cannot handle the Glory. It will cause you to walk in pride and error, and you will fall. This is crucial to believers to understand, especially those with so called, “great anointings.” I asked God why so many people fall once they are elevated. He told me: “Because you cannot take what is not rightfully yours.” In other words, when you don’t give God the Glory He deserves, you are stealing. He is a jealous God. This belongs to Him and ONLY to Him.
When God does ANYTHING through you, Beloved, GIVE GOD THE GLORY!!!
AMEN!!!…………………………………..TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Prayer Requests
Hello, Prayer Line?? ….WHAT’D YOU SAY?? …………What’s my malfunction???……………………..
I want to teach on how to pray. We will use the model prayer Jesus used and just break it down. Let’s start with the first line.
Our Father which art in heaven:
First off, every person on this earth has at one time or another struggled with prayer. We have a subconscience desire to engage a Great Being so that we know we’re not alone. There are things we wish we can share with someone that only they would know. So, we lift our eyes upwards.
Some however, struggle with it; others at times, appear that they are much better at accessing Him.
But make no mistake, Beloved. God delights in inviting us to come into His Presence. The Word of God says enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). And so, we see a pattern in the “entering in.”
But, first, the question on the book is: WHO are we entering in to see and WHY?
This question leads us to the first statement of the prayer model: ”Our Father which art in heaven.”
You see, in order for us to have a “successful” prayer life, you have to understand who it is you’re talking to.
Introducing: the garden.
When God created Adam, He created Him with several purposes in mind. If you want to get an idea about what purposes, visit the Book of Genesis. Right now, though, I’ll deal with only one of them. That one is Intimacy.
Here’s what blows my mind: God (Elohim) creates a being in “like fashion” as Himself. Genesis 1:1 says, ”In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heaven and the earth. Verses 2-3 tells you who was there: The Father, Son & Holy Spirit: each disctinct in personality, but ONE in person.
So, then, it says man was created in His Image (Genesis 1:26.) This means that unlike the animals, we have a unique ability to express and engage in intelligent conversations. We have distinct personalities. And we enjoy great companionship.
So does God. He created man with one specific purpose in mind: to have a relationship with him or to fellowship with him. He is your Father who loves His children, His creation, very much. And He loves to laugh with you, to hear you tell Him what’s going on with your circumstances and even just to enjoy your company.
There’s only one problem, though. God is extremely Holy. What this means is that His Person is so pure, that if you tried to get close to Him on your own, it will literally kill you or consume you. So, he creates someone, who is pure like Himself.
The best example I can give you of His Holiness is this: Think of the most purest, white cloth you’ve ever seen in your life. Totally white, with not a speck of dirt or spot. This is God. Now, think of a person who cannot stand dirt or spots of any kind. And they find a “spot” on their “cloth.” They may go ballistic if they find an inkling of dirt. They would go to great lengths to remove it. That’s God’s Person–He hates, or abhors, sin of any kind of fashion. It doesn’t matter if you’re a liar, cheat, whoremonger or adulterer, sin is sin. And His very Nature would try to get rid of it or destroy it. To Him it doesn’t belong anywhere close to Him.
Why is this important? I know this sounds crazy, and makes God look strange, but you have to understand something. This is a very weak description. In order to understand God, you have to understand WHO HE is.
GOD IS HOLY. And this means He is set apart, sacred, lofty, THE HOLY ONE of ISRAEL.
Now, in the garden, this ”cleanness” issue was not a problem. Adam was pure and innocent. And because of this, He was able to meet with God continually in the “cool of the day” and enjoy unbroken fellowship. There was no need for God to talk to him to talk to you through anyone else.
Introducing: sin
So, when Adam became disobedient and ate of the fruit that he was commanded not to eat, it really became a problem. There was a “spot” on the cloth and it ruined a great fellowship. Now, the unbroken fellowship could not continued because sin was in the camp. And it had to be removed….
TO BE CONTINUED……
CONTINUED…………..
First off, let me apologize. I have been pretty busy as of late and have kind of left you hanging. There’s nothing worse than reading the papers or a good book and you start to really get into it and then have to wait for the rest of the story. So, I’m really sorry. Hopefully, we’re still friends, right??? GRREEAAT!!!!! So, let’s finish this baby! YEAH!!!!
Okay, where was I? Oh, yeah, SIN. Such a small word with some VERY BIG consequences. It has brought many a person down and continues to be a problem, even in the Church-gasp!-OMG!! But God, in His tender mercies,……….. LORD my God, I feel you Holy Ghost!! My help is coming!! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO, Adam fell. He and that “no good wife of his”-Eve. He told God, “It was that wife you gave me that did this.”
God had to put him in check. Adam made a very clear choice; and it costs him big time. But God already had a plan in motion.
God yearns to have unbroken fellowship with His creation. So, He realized that man was not going to be able to reach Him because of the huge chasm that was now in-between them. And, on top of that, there was another problem in the mix: blood was spilled.
You see when Adam fell, he tried to hide his shame with fig leaves. This was insufficient. God realized this, and he took an animal and made man ”clothes of skin.” (Gen.3:21). But, Beloved, the Word says that “life is in the blood”(Leviticus 17:11) and if blood is spilled, it cries out for vengeance (Gen. 4:10). Something has to die in its place for atonement, or for it to be satisfied.
Okay, I know you’re probably, like, “What the heck does this have to do with prayer??” Just hang in there with me, Beloved. We’re taking a scenic route, but trust me, the Holy Ghost IS going somewhere.
So, God used this as a means to bring man to Him. Introducing, animal sacrifices.
It was common practice for man to build an altar and come before God in “communion and prayer.” You see that God taught this to Adam as was reflected when you read the story of Cain and Abel. This continued throughout the generations.
But somewhere along the lines, it was forgotten: God is Father God, Abba Daddy, who longs for relationship with His children. And trust me, God was not about to let man forget this.
But, remember, He was, and is, still Holy.
Question: So, how do you approach a Holy God?
I hear someone saying, “Is it carefully??”
Close, very close!!! :-)
In a technical sense, that IS correct. You see this shown in the temple sacrifices and how the priests, if they did not have their act together, would die on the spot and had to be pulled out by a rope tied around their ankles. (WOW!) God did not play.
(NOTE: If you’re wondering where I’m at, Beloved, I’m in the Book of Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy. I don’t want you guys to fall asleep, so I’m speeding things up a bit. )
God gave Moses rules and regulations for the children of Israel to follow so that when they approached Him, there sins would be forgiven and they can enjoy communion with Him (the blood offerings.) Moses then made sure the children of Israel followed these. The rules and regulations can be found in the Torah, or the Books of the Law (the ones I just mentioned.) The LORD was known to them at that time as I AM that I AM (YHWH), what we Christians call “Jehovah.” But, even though the children of Israel of followed the laws and kept them, there actions said they were holy, but their heart was far from it.
Here’s what Isaiah 1 says:
“…The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward….
Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. (i.e., He’s tired of vain and empty oblations and words.)
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
(Remember the blood??)
Okay, guys, we’re going to take a break. I promise you, I’ll try to come back sooner. Next, lesson: PART 2-Hallowed be Thy Name.
Okay, I’m back. Got quite a few coals on the fire, but I want to make sure what we’re talking about is sinking in as well.
Well, I was quoting Isaiah the Prophet on the last part of the teaching. Suffice it to say, before we move on, that the blood issue is very important.
For one, it introduces you to the concept of Jesus blood atonement for you. Something, or in this instance, Someone had to die in your place. But His death, not only makes Him your Saviour, it also makes Him your Great High Priest.
Isaiah was talking to a people who were given the Law by Moses on Mt Sinai. The children of Israel were very familiar with all the rudiments of the law: the handwashing, the blood sacrifices, the keeping of the feasts, the commandments, etc, etc.
However, it was merely ritualistic and not sincerely done. It was so they could say they were a holy people when they were not. They were still worshiping false idols. They were still engaged in sin. The Law was on their doorposts and before their eyes, but for the most part, it was not in their heart. That’s why God said in Hebrews (also in Ezekiel) that He would re-write the laws so that it would be in their hearts and not on tablets of stone.
Hebrews 8:10
- For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:….(KJV)
He already knew the people would have a propensity towards sin because their outward actions were just that–it was not in their hearts to really want to fellowship with Him.
Introducing: Halloweth (Holy) be Thy Name.
Understanding the holiness of God is important in many ways, but one is because of this: There is holy reverence for the things of God AND the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
If you truly grasp this concept, you’ll never have problem with reverential fear again.
But again, we’re talking about intimacy. Beloved, I’m trying to wrap your minds around understanding the dichotomy of God: He is holy yet He wants to spend time with you.
Think of it this way: In the natural, a father (a true father, that is) is the patriarch of the family. He is head of his house. He rules his house well: he has set guidelines and standards as to how he expects his house to run, ie. chores, curfews, who’s responsible for what, so forth and so on. he even disciplines his children because he knows what’s best for them and he wants the best for them.
Yet, at the same time, He is DAD. He wants to take the family out on vacations, play ball with the kids, eat at the dinner table and talk about the day, spend time with his wife–these are some of the things a dad does. The whole point is centered around relationship. We even go thru great lengths to recognize phenomenal dads on Father’s Day. And his love for his family is not predicated upon how good or bad his children are, or how good of a wife he has.
And if these are some things a father does in the natural, how much more in the Spirit does God wants to be a father to you, o ye of little faith??
I feel an unction in my spirit right now to pray for the fatherless, those who have not known a true father:
Papa, I am so glad I can come to you. You know there have been times when I have felt as though I’m not loved or even as though anyone really cares. But You care.
I need you, Daddy! Can you wrap Your Loving arms around me?! There’s a storm going on in my life and I am really afraid. There’s thunders and lightnings and all kinds of stuff, and I just want to know if I can come and just lay next to You until it passes. You promised You will be with me always; I need You. Don’t ever let me go, Abba! Don’t ever let me go! I am safe and secure here with You and I know this is the place the enemy cannot get to me. So, if you don’t mind, let me stay right in this place until You make my enemies surrounding me my footstool.
Thank You, Daddy! I Love You soooooooooooo much!!!
Signed, Your daughter or son, ______________.(Now put your name here)
In Yeshua (Jesus) Name. Amen.
WOW! okay we’ll stop here. I’m getting into prayer with my Daddy. See ya soon!!
